Grand Theft Auto 4 :: Hints, tips, tricks
Armor and health
Armor - You can get body armor from any gun shop, illegal dealer or little jacob. A little bit of armor is available when you get in a noose enforcer. You can also find body armor around the city.
Health - You can call 911 on your cell phone. Hookers can replenish your health. Health (aka first aid kit) can be found at the hospital, soft drink machines, hotdog and nut stands, and restaurants.
Wanted levels
Your wanted level is shown in stars. The more stars you have the more you are wanted. Unlike the previous GTA games, in IV you can get a six star wanted level early in the game. When you get six star wanted level the feds (aka NOOSE or national office of security enforcement) come after you. If you try to go to an island that is not unlocked you automatically get a six star wanted level. If you enter the airport you automaticly get a wanted level. The wanted zone is the blue and red flashing patch on the map. Get out and stay out of the wanted zone to escape your wanted level.
